Gold Zakat Nisab

The commonly used Nisab for gold is the value of 85 grams of gold. If your total gold (and other Zakatable assets) reach that value for one lunar year, Zakat becomes due at 2.5%.

• Convert your gold to grams and multiply by today’s price per gram.
• Compare the total to the value of 85g. If equal or higher → Nisab met.
